Footnotes
BAROQUEN RECORD quick speed from the gate to lead, well handled and held sway to the wire. COULD DO rail run while chasing top two, could not cut into the lead and held place to the wire. TRAIN AND TRUST saved ground while well back to the stretch, rallied in earnest and ran on for the show spot. BIG LAMBROS no speed to the stretch, ran on to improve in the late going. MUBAREZ raced along evenly with no response when needed in the stretch. TIZ A SHOWDOWN had no speed from the start and never menaced throughout. CAPTAIN CRUSH chased winner wide for a half with nothing left and faded readily. THRACIAN through after the half and dropped back readily. SHANE FALCO tried to keep up outside to the half, stopped to a walk in the stretch run.
