Footnotes
THE DOVER SPECTER unhurried to far turn, rallied in a rush through the stretch, kept on gamely and won the head bob on the wire. ARMY HERO inside speed to the front, led to stretch, dueled all out but outkicked late. FAYETTE SPIRIT saved ground to far turn angled out to rally on for show spot. FARM TEAM chased leaders from inside to the half and faded back in stretch. TAVERN TIME just off leader chasing to quarter pole could not go on and backed up in the stretch. DU MONDE hopped a bit from the gate, slow into stride and never menaced. TAPTHEDRUM outside run to far turn, could not keep up and gave in readily. HOLD THE PHONE saved ground to no avail and dropped far back to the wire.
