Footnotes
HARD TO CAPTURE was reserved off the pace, fanned seven to eight wide turning into upper stretch while gaining willingly, was confidently handled rallying from outside to the lead a sixteenth from home and drove past. CEFALO was strongly urged from the start but lacking early speed, soon picked it up and moved forward chasing three to four wide and still under encouragement, was put to even greater urging nearing the quarter pole, came out a bit for the drive, kept on late to just get up for second. MI TORMENTA stalked the leader taking closer order on the turn, struck the lead at the top of the stretch while lugging in a bit, appeared to lose the cap from the helmet which then blew in the wind through the lane still partly attached, was outkicked for the win and just lost the nod for place at the wire. HOT OMELET settled into stride last early, steadily advanced outside into and on the turn racing four to five wide through that bend, came out a bit for the drive, kept on evenly. MISS BOBBIT tracked from inside on or just off the rail through the turn, failed to rally. GOLDEN SPRING shot clear soon after the start with mild encouragement, set the pace inside, was headed at the top of the stretch and gave way. CREATIVPERFORMANCE raced off the pace and removed from the fence, was encouraged to keep up coming past the three-eighths but had no response and faded.
