AWE INSPIRED rated kindly watching the lead trio down the back straightaway, crept closer on the fence while hard ridden midway around the bend, shifted just off the rail for the running down the lane and grinded away never giving up and wore the leader very late to get the win. ISAAC LEO pressed the pace on the rail down the backside, edged away taking command with three furlongs to run, fought on stubbornly trying to hold the lead to the finish line through the stretch but was run down by the winner in the shadow of the wire. PUNKIN BOY was ahead of only a couple of rivals between horses in the two path early on, made no gain even though scrubbed on around the turn and with a good sustained late rally in the two path down the stretch got up in the final jump for the show money. ADAPTED broke out on the start, settled in midfield four deep along the backside, had little to show going three wide on the turn, shifted out in the six path for the drive and closed smartly in deep stretch to settle on the fringes while losing the tight photo for the show award. STRATUS settled on the fence in mid-division for the early stages of the race, shifted out five wide for the stretch rally and finished up willingly down the lane to be involved but was on the losing end for third money by a couple of nods. TIGER TOWN broke sharp having the early lead, relinquished the front end outside in the two path by the three furlong marker, continued to fight up in the front pack throughout the turn to be in the mix still three wide turning for home but could not find more late and weakened in deep stretch losing a couple of placings nearing the wire. CRUCIAL TAUNT travelled on the outside tracking the contesting pair up front in the early stages, inched up three wide at the quarter pole, was in the hunt four wide at the top of the stretch but wilted in the final eighth of a mile. PLEASE DON'T GO was in last position after the start, briefly made a move on the fence at the half, could not keep up to rivals around the bend and made little presence down the lane. DARK THOUGHTS showed little regressing down the backside to trail the field by the half, could not get involved travelling off the fence on the turn and was not a factor in the stretch running.
