VALYRIAN SKY maintained a slim advantage with company on the outside down the back straight, edged away in hand with three furlongs to go, drifted just off the fence moving well within himself up top straightening out for the drive and was kept to the task to hold safe for the win at the wire. ROYAL QUALITY improved up the fence along the backside to watch the contesting duo at the half, tried to close the gap on the leader just of the rail running around the bend, stubbornly chased the winner in vain to the wire and was inching closer when crossing the finish line. JMR SPEEDY ESCAPE stalked the pacesetter on the inside, moved up under a snug hold by the half, kept pace while inside in the third tier through the turn, rallied up the fence at the top of the stretch and finished up willingly to be a clear but distant third. RAPTURE BAY settled near the back of the pack on the outside, stalked outside a rival in the third tier around the oval, shifted out widest in the five path turning for home and finished up evenly to pass a tired foe for a minor role in the end. CANADIAN AVRO prompted the soft pace on the outside in the early going, could not keep up with the frontrunner while travelling three wide through the turn and tired between foes in mid-stretch. UNCAPTURED MOMENT hop slightly on the start, trailed the field along the backside, could not get close in on rivals around the bend and never reached contention driving to the finish line.
