GIZMO'S B F F forced the pace outside in the early going, continued to battle up top around the oval, edged away from the other early speed foe while in the three path in upper stretch and had more to give when drawing off in the final seventy yards for the victory. CRIMSON NIGHTS was throttled down when up front in the beginning to sit just off the lead two while on the fence, travelled well, measuring the top two around the turn, rallied up the fence at the top of the lane, could not get to the winner who had more in the tank and just saved the second money inside in a tight three way finish. PLUIE D'AVRIL settled between runners in the two path watching the lead twosome, chased outside a rival on the turn, was in with a chance for a share three wide at the top of the lane and finished up determinedly with challengers on either side to win the third money share when crossing the line. GABBY SQUARED stalked ahead of only the troubled rival down the backstretch, commenced a run on the rail passing rivals at the five sixteenths pole, shifted out to the four path having run and closed in belatedly outside horses to just lose the three-way photo for the runners up share. ALBERTA BE MINE had a tracking role three deep on the outside watching the lead duo, regressed outside foes throughout the turn and had little presence in the drive to the wire. BEAUMONT DRIVE was checked between rivals leaving the chute to see the field along the backside, saved ground making little impact on the turn and passed a straggler in the late stages of the race. ROYAL BLUSH had the lead between foes down the backside, maintained a slim lead dueling on the rail around the turn, had little left to offer in the two path for the stretch running and folded up by the furlong marker.
