Footnotes
SOUPER DORMY cruised to the lead under a good hold setting a moderate pace, widened the margin up top in midturn, opened up when tapped for more run at the furlong pole and won comfortably when crossing the finish line. MOON LANDING was off a step slow to begin, co-trailed on the inside at the half, began to cover more ground three wide at the quarter pole, angled out five wide gathering more speed at the top of the lane and finished up strongly to get the runners up share late behind the dominant winner. PRICELESS WILL settled on the rail watching the top two down the backside, moved up the fence by the quarter pole, chased the frontrunning winner to no avail in the lane and just lost the place share when caught in deep stretch. COTTON was content to flank the pacesetter outside in the early going, came under a ride losing ground to the winner by midturn, shifted out to the four path trying to hold for a share in upper stretch and finished up to between runners to be a fringe player in the end. JAMIESTA tracked the front two while outside another foe, kept pace while going three wide around the bend, shifted to the fence for the drive to the wire but lacked a finish in the stretch running. COLONEL MUSTARD co-trailed on the outside with a half mile remaining, was hard ridden but lost touch with the field around the turn and posed no threat galloping down the lane to the finish line.
