Footnotes
GET OUT THE VOTE broke sharp at the start, shook clear from others to be loose up top by the half, opened up at will throughout the turn and under mild urging at the furlong marker coasted home for the front end tally. HYPER HOLIDAY settled alone in mid-division with a half mile remaining, started to commence a rally, lengthening stride in midturn, swung out widest in the five path gathering speed outside foes turning for home and closed in belatedly to be a distant second behind the winner who got away at the top of the stretch. EASTER SUNDAY GIRL was nestled on the rail watching the frontrunner down the back straight, battled on the fence in second around the bend taking the short way, was trying to hold while inside horses for the place share in mid-stretch but weakened late to settle for third at the wire. HOULIHAN chased the lone pacesetter while travelling outside horses down the backstretch, fought on in the second tier just outside for the runners up share on the turn, still was in the mix three wide between foes for second money at the top of the lane but faded in mid-stretch to settle on the fringes in the end. SLOANS SKY broke a step slow, stalked outside ahead of only the other troubled starter down the back straight, had little to offer running around the oval and finished up mildly late when passing a tiring rival in the final sixteenth of a mile. BLACK GODDESS settled on the fence stalking inside, had no movement around the bend and lacked a really down the stretch. DANISH COOKIE stumbled badly soon after the start, trailed by many along the backside and could not get involved in the stretch running.
