ITSASTORMYMONDAY broke outwards to begin, had his head cocked early on fighting the riders restraint down the backside, rated kindly moving confidently three wide outside to bid for the lead at the quarter pole and when roused right handed battling up top drew away with conviction in deep stretch. BOB AND JULES broke out at the start, cleared to the lead setting a doddling pace down the backside, continued setting a slow tempo up top throughout the turn, maintained a slim advantage inside rivals straightening for home, could not fend off the winner, giving way grudgingly in the final furlong to be the runner up. PRIVATE LABEL was at the rear between horses at the half, still had rivals on each side while in the second grouping watching the lead trio around the turn, shifted to the four path at the top of the stretch and stayed on the left lead to the wire but still finished up willingly to win the show money in the final furlong. MOTION GRANTED veered inwards on the break, co-trailed inside two others at the half, was in range keeping pace on the fence around the oval and finished up mildly on the fence down the stretch losing the battle for a minor share. OUT N OUT DISGRACE stalked at the back with going three deep down the back straight, make little impact taking the overland route three wide around the bend, shifted out widest in the five path turning for home and could only manage to pass a tiring rival right at the finish line. NEXT PITCH was under a snug hold behind the leader down the backside, shifted off the fence with three eighths to go, vied between runners at the quarter pole up front but had little left for the drive and folded in the three path with rivals on either side in the last sixteenth.
