Footnotes
BRIGHT SUNSHINE got away well and quickly moved clear shifting in to set the pace near but just off the fence, was tracked by rivals in behind, extended the advantage in upper stretch when put to some moderate urging, kept busy to the wire and just held from a resolutely-closing. SNATCHED , who was in just a bit tight soon after the start, shifted in and settled toward the rear, advanced to mid-pack up the backstretch, shifted out past the quarter pole coming into upper stretch six to seven wide and now under a drive, gained steadily and determinedly outside but just missed. BOLD RIPASSO shifted in a bit early and advanced between foes up the backstretch, continued to make progress outside four to five wide on the turn, was within range to threaten coming to the top of the stretch but needed more late. PAT'S HOLIDAY stalked in behind two to three wide, was up close coming to the top of the stretch, drifted to the rail in upper stretch and flattened out. LEMONCELLA SPRITZ rated in behind inside in the early stages with no where to go in tracking the leader, had room on the rail coming into upper stretch that disappeared soon after, altered outside a rival nearing the furlong grounds, ran on. FAULTFINDER was up close three to four wide heading into the turn, failed to rally. MISTY EYED chased outside, appeared a bit hard to control into the turn, had no response. BLACK DAGGER raced toward the back off the rail and failed to menace.
