FORTY N FIVE was nestled on the rail behind the leader, watched the lead trio battle up front in midturn while just starting to rally, closer in taking the short way around in upper stretch and grinded away stubbornly on the fence through the lane just winning a tight photo for the win inside at the finish line. WYOMING BILL had a stalking position near the back in the early stages, began to pick up the bit outside midpoint through the turn taking aim on the lead threesome, shifted out four wide with run in upper stretch and fought on between rivals to the wire just losing the nod in a very close finish. COOLCOLLECTED crossed over from the outside for a clear advantage by the half, had company outside with five sixteenths remaining, spurted away again at the top of the lane but could not continue on with the closing inside rivals in the last sixteenth of a mile. MAP'S A BREEZE travelled on the rail near the rear, dropped back with three furlongs left to go, rallied while angling out under left handed encouragement at the quarter pole, had to alter course to be widest in the seven path at the top of the stretch and finished up determinedly trying to close in, just running shy for third money. ROLLING ALONG settled in midfield three deep down the back straight, took closer order going three wide at the three eighths marker, loomed boldly three wide with a quarter mile left to run, drifted in from the five path turning for home when urged right handed and stalled while not switching leads at the furlong pole. MOHAYMEN DIAMOND was unhurried to trail the field by many along the backside, narrowed the gap while running three wide off the rail in the turn and could only manage to pass the troubled runner in the stretch at the furlong marker. PIERRE was content to let the leader go tracking with rivals on either side at the half, moved in between foes to bid in midturn, lost its path when it tight having to be checked at the top of the lane losing all momentum and could not recoup to be a factor late.
