PURR FACTOR was quickest out of the gate loose on the lead down the backside, cruised around the turn while well in hand up front and had another gear in the lane to win going away when asked for more in the last furlong. HOLIDAY WITH AMY veered in sharply on the break, stalked outside rivals down the backside, began to offer a rally midway around the bend, shifted out gaining more speed three wide at the quarter pole, could not get to the winner who had more down the stretch but did fight on determinedly to win the nod right at the line for second money. MORAL TURPITUDE was nestled on the rail watching the lone frontrunner down the backside, kept pace while on the fence through the turn, had aim in the three path on the leader if good enough at the top of the stretch, was no threat for the winner who had more to give by mid-stretch and just missed, losing the battle for the runners up share at the finish line in a photo. SARAH'S DANCER had a tracking role outside in the second flight, continued outside trying to cut into the pacesetters lead around the bend, shifted out to be four wide with runners on either side while fighting for a mild share in upper stretch but faded late and had to settle on the fringes in the end. OUR FLAG FLYING was bounced around between runners at the break, had a stalking position on the inside in the early stages, had little to offer with five sixteenths to go and could not get involved in the five path in the stretch running. THAT GIRL ARTEMUS was void off an early speed, trailing by many in the early going, made no progression on horses in the running around the turn and did close the gap on some rivals late but could not get into contention driving to the finish line.
