Footnotes
KATHERINE'S GEM plodded along up-front with the wind to her back along the backstretch, quickened the tempo moving well dictating terms through the oval and had more in the stretch drive under a well rated front-end ride to hold safe for the score at the wire. KITTEN'S ROMANCE was content to track the pacesetter outside down the backside, crept up through the turn poised to make a stretch rally, chased to no avail while not switching leads to the wire and though she could not get to the winner, quite easily bested the rest at the finish for the runners up share. HARD TO CAPTURE travelled outside in the middle of the pack down the back straight, moved in three wide taking closer order around the turn, could not threaten the top two rivals down the lane but did fight on late to win third money outside in deep stretch. CANDID CANDACE settled on the rail in mid-division, was hard ridden trying to keep up on the fence to the front three on the turn, battled stubbornly inside in the two path at the furlong marker for the show award but conceded late in the last sixteenth to settle on the fringes in the end. LIAM'S AWESOME was away slowly to see the field in the early going, made little headway throughout the turn, shifted out to the four path at the top of the lane and while shifting inside passed a tiring rival in the final sixteenth of a mile. KAVALA was nudged along ahead of only the poor starter along the backstretch, came under a ride but was losing ground the leaders around the bend and could no offer a finish down the stretch.
