POWAQA stalked near the rear on the outside, settled into stride in the third flight but having an inside trip along the backside, made a quick move darting between rivals midway around the far turn reaching for more ground, loomed five wide in upper stretch and was going away convincingly in the late stretch running. AUDAX MINOR was nestled on the rail in the second grouping for the first half, ram on mildly saving ground inside on the final bend and in the two path between rivals closed belatedly, besting the rest, taking the runners up share. ARRAKASTA IZAN tracked the front duo while outside a challenger in the early stages, moved in three wide at the three eighths marker, drifted out five wide taking command at the top of the lane, could not fend off the winner outside at the furlong pole and faded in the closing stages to save the show money. BOURBONONAHOLIDAY settled near the rear three wide on the first of two turns, made an early move going by on the outside of runners at the half, continued a good sustained rally circling four wide around foes on the far turn, shifted out further in the six path having clear run in the lane but stalled with a furlong remaining. ONE SMOOTH STONE was hustled to get the lead on the rail into the first turn, dictated the pace along the backstretch, was headed outside at the quarter pole, had no answer when the outside rival went by turning for home and yielded even more on the rail by the furlong marker. BLACK GODDESS was unhurried, trailing at the start, made a brief move passing a rival inside at the half, had slight interest going by foes on the fence in upper stretch but could never reach contention in the running to the finish line. MIKEY BOY travelled three wide in midfield in the beginning, regressed along the backside, could see the field making little gain on the far bend and could only manage to pass a straggler in mid-stretch. Z HUB shifted off the rail to press the pace outside in the initial turn, continued to shadow the frontrunner outside along the backstretch, had enough when backing away with five sixteenths from home and folded in the two path in the stretch running.
