Footnotes
HIGHLAND SOCIETY was loose on the lead going well along the backside, continued to roll along unopposed around the turn, spurted away from the chasing rivals at the top of the lane and comfortably held for the win when crossing the finish line. WET AND WILD was content to track the frontrunner outside along the back straight, could not reel in the winner when asked for more through the turn, battled in the two path with runners on either side in the stretch drive and held for the place share in the end. KID FORESTER broke with the field, but quickly dropped back to trail in the early stages, saved ground taking closer order through the turn shifted out four wide in mid-stretch and with a good late kick got up for third place in the shadow of the wire. TRICKY MAGICIAN was under a good hold inside, on the rail watching the lead pair, held his position on the fence around the oval, battled for second money on the rail in mid-stretch but settled for a minor share just losing out on holding third coming to the wire. MIDNIGHT ARKLE was inside on runners in mid-division, managed to keep position but was under a hard ride doing so through the turn, shifted our four wide for the drive to the wire but lacked a rally in the stretch. THREE SONNY SIDEUP had a stalking trip ahead of only one rival in the early going, made little headway going three wide through the turn, shifted out six wide for the drive and passed only the troubled runner in deep stretch. THENORTHREMEMBERS travelled on the outside in the middle of the pack, closed the gap smartly gaining three wide on the outside around the bend, rallied in the three path taking over second money at the furlong marker with her aim set on the leader late, took an awkward step with a sixteenth to run, was eased when crossing the finish and left via equine ambulance.
