Footnotes
TIGER TOWN was under restraint while getting to the rail up top along the backside, continued to roll along unchallenged around the oval, spurted away, have something in reserve by mid-stretch and just had enough to hold safe by a diminishing margin at the wire for the frontrunning tally. GLINTINDADDYSEYE was in the three path between horses with a half mile to run, made little progression, status unchanged around the bend, burst between foes leaving the quarter pole while two wide, shifted out in the three path looking to be the main opposition in the stretch drive and was closing in late but could not get to the winner in time at the finish line. YOU AND ME BABY was forwardly placed on the rail in the third tier with the field strung out along the backside, improved still saving all the ground around the bend, scraped the paint at the top of the lane and continuing with the inside trip, finished up well to be a clear third when crossing the wire. ASHUKA was bumped outside on the break to stalk close to the back in the early going, narrowed the margin on the leaders along the back straight, travelled between foes in mid-pack with the field strung out running around the bend and never gave in down the stretch anf finished up smartly between rivals in the two path to get up late for a minor share. WAR EMPIRE broke out on the start, tracked outside in the third flight down the backside, advanced three wide under a ride through the turn, was in the mix for a share five wide straightening out for the drive but could only finish up evenly outside losing the duel for the minors. AIM DON'T MISS had a stalking role, ahead of only a few rivals that were the troubled starters along the backside, advanced smartly taking the short way around the turn, battled on the fence for the minor share in the final furlong but just missed out nearing the wire. BENNYS JETS was under a snug hold drafting behind the pacesetter down the backside, inched up inside around the turn to pose a threat in the two path turning for home, could not continue on late and flattened out between rivals two wide at the furlong pole. SERENADE POINT chased the pacesetter along the backside, was scrubbed on for more trying in vain to get to the winner on the turn, began to give way to others on both sides while in the two path at the quarter pole and wilted four wide by the furlong marker. CASTLE HARBOUR was nudged along trying to get better forward position on the fence in the early going, was shuffled back at the half inside, made no headway between foes in the two path around the turn running, angled out widest in the seven path at the top of the and passed a couple of weary horses in upper stretch. KING PUTT improved going three deep outside down the back straight, continued the three wide journey but could not keep up to inside rivals by midturn and wilted in the two path by upper stretch. BIG LEW veer in sharply on the break, trailed the group down the backside by many, caught up, then went by a rival outside three wide at the three eighths marker, angled out widest in the seven path for the drive to the wire and pass a couple of more weary foes in the lane. BAPTIST BILLY was in the three path with runners on each side in mid-division with a half mile to run, kept pace while under encouragement outside throughout the turn, shifted out five wide for the drive and while not switching leads, made little presence in the stretch running. WANNA'S LEGACY settled in the middle of the pack between rivals in the two path down the backstretch at the half, retreated going three wide around the bend and made no impression in the three path running down the lane. COMETOTHEDARKSIDE was bumped inside and was taken hold of soon after the start, lagged behind the field ahead of only another poor starter, could see the field by the three furlong pole and never could recover from the beginning to be involved.
