Footnotes
CREVALLE D'ORO was unhurried on the rail seeing the field, settled into stride, under a good relaxed rhythm with a half mile remaining, began to cruise up inside at the three furlong pole, had to wait briefly behind rivals for a moment coming up to the quarter pole, skimmed the fence turning for home, darted inside to take control at the furlong marker and was kept to the task late to hold for the win. AWESOME SPIRIT GAL (FR) was hard held on the fence behind the frontrunner in the early stages, moved in at the three eighths pole, shifted outside for a clear path off the leader two furlongs from the prize to be three wide in the thick of things in mid-stretch, ran on well late but was outkicked by the winner in the final sixteenth. VEERY assumed the lead, setting a soft pace, continued up top unopposed at the half mile marker quickening the wind aided pace, still rolled along smoothly around the far turn, stubbornly tried to hold on between foes closing in at the top of the stretch but faded in the final sixteenth to be a clear third in the end. ENDURING was brushed on the inside on the break, had a tracking role outside in the first turn, continued outside keeping an eye on the pacesetter along the backside, could not gain on the leader when scrubbed on for more at the three eighths pole, shifted out four wide for the stretch drive and could only finish up one paced on the outside, settling on the fringes. PERHAPS TONIGHT (IRE) co-trailed on the outside going three wide into the initial bend, made no progression travelling four deep along the backside, made a brief move outside moving with the eventual winner at the three furlong pole, shifted out five wide in the lane but had little to offer in the stretch running outside foes. HURRICANE CLAIR broke out slightly on the start, settled in midfield under a good hold in the early stages, backed away with rivals going by on eiter side at the three furlong marker, lagged around the final turn and galloped through the lane to the finish line.
