WOZNIACKI was away quickest from the gate while breaking in at the start, opted to let the inside runner eager for the lead go ahead down the backside while contently tracking on the outside, edged up by the quarter pole, pounced when straightening out for the drive to the wire seizing control, opened up a commanding lead with a furlong to go and held safe by a diminishing margin at the finish line for the win. TANZANITE LILY broke a step slow at the start to trail on the outside at the half, caught up to runners outside by the quarter pole, swung out widest in the seven path when full of run missing the turn for home, burst between horses three wide at the furlong pole lengthening stride and closed in sharply late to get up for the runners up share. MONTY'S INN stalked, ahead of only one runner in mid-backstretch, shifted out at the five sixteenths pole beginning to pick up runners outside, angled to the four path having good energy, darted to the fence at the furlong marker closing in late but just lost the battle inside for second money. JUST PRAY was reluctant to load at the start, tracked three deep on the outside watching the front two runners in the backstretch, moved in closer, going three wide around the bend, drifted out to the five path turning for home and finished up mildly for a minor share. EM CHAMAS had a stalking trip on the rail close to the back, made little progression inside giving way to rivals through the turn but did show some late interest to come back on and pass tired horses down the stretch. CITORI was loose on the lead down the backside setting a quick pace on the fence, continued to freewheel up top on the turn, was collared outside by the winner with a quarter mile remaining, had no answer when the winner swept past in upper stretch, shifted outside with an eighth left to go beginning to shorten stride and emptied out in deep stretch. ADORABLE ANGEL travelled in the third flight on the rail with the field stretched out at the half, came under a ride but could not quicken with the lead trio by the quarter pole and yielded on the fence in upper stretch. SHE'S SO CROATIAN settled between horses keeping tabs on the lead pair down the back straight, was going in the wrong direction under a ride midway through the turn, shifted out three wide with rivals on either side for the stretch drive but had nothing left to offer and weakened down the lane.
