WESTMINSTER was prominent early taking the lead after the opening three-sixteenths, dictated terms from off the fence, was challenged late on the turn but turned back those rivals and kicked clear again then held sway under steady handling. BIG SCREEN BOSS was up close, chased into the turn, bid four wide between runners past the quarter pole, was no match for the winner, drifted out in the stretch and got the nod for place. SIGNATURE SIR exchanged a bump at the start, had a brief early lead then pressed inside, dropped back and switched out, was still in contention under a hard drive coming past the quarter pole three wide, ran on in the lane but was outfinished for second. IMPERIAL GOLD broke a bit awkwardly and was in tight just after, settled off the pace, advanced outside foes four to five wide coming to the quarter pole to reach contention but could not sustain the effort. THE BIG ZAPPER chased from inside, weakened. FINE STYLE exchanged a bump at the start, stalked between runners in the second flight, steadied past the seven-sixteenths, did not rally after. FOURLEGSGOOD broke a bit awkwardly and was outrun.
