HEY CUE set a pressured pace inside at the start, smartly took back to let the let the outside foe who was making an early move have the lead by the half, shifted outside at the three furlong marker, re-engaged by midturn outside, took control in the two path at the top of the stretch and edged away in the late stages to win comfortably at the finish line. BET N WIN stalked at the rear inside another challenger down the backside, commenced a rally on the rail with five sixteenths to go, shifted to the three path straightening out for home and with a good late kick got up to be a non-threatening second at the wire. CHANCEL had a stalking role outside after the break, made an early move four deep to seize command by the half, opened up briefly with three furlongs from the prize, was collared by the winner outside at the quarter pole, had no answer by upper stretch while on the fence and faded late to be caught nearing the finish for second money. FORESTER HUMOR broke in on the start, tracked inside foes in midfield along the backside, kept pace at the three eighths marker between rivals while three wide, shifted to the fence by midturn, shifted back out in the two path at the furlong pole but was one paced late and settled on the fringes. DREAM ON BABY travelled in mid-division while going three deep on the outside in the early going, offered a mild run four wide outside at the three eighths pole, shifted outside to be in the five path turning for home but had no finish to offer down the lane. LIFE IS HARD was brushed outside on the break, recovered quickly to prompt outside soon after the start, dropped back between horses in the two path at the half while still keeping a close eye on the contesting pair, retreated throughout the turn and made little presence in the stretch drive. SPRING MOUNTAIN could see the field while outside another along the backside, travelled three wide outside rivals under a vigorous ride but was making little headway around the bend, shifted to the five path for the drive but had no rally in the stretch running outside foes.
