CELENTANO shifted in a bit up the backstretch, advanced between rivals about the seven-sixteenths, went two to three wide on the turn, came out leaving that bend, finished strongly to drive past late. BACK RIVER stalked from outside going three wide into the turn, advanced to take the lead by the top of the stretch, was put to urging and edged clear in mid-stretch but was simply outfinished. WHISKEY ROW was close up early between, continued to chase the leader from inside a foe but off the fence, kept on in the stretch to get up for show. ONTARIO HOLIDAY soon moved forward inside to take the lead, set the pace inside, was clear early on the turn, overtaken at the top of the stretch, lacked the needed late kick and lost show late. MAGIC SLIPS made a mild advance inside late up the backstretch, was within striking distance but could only go on evenly. GIL'S FOLLY settled at the rear, switched out up the backstretch, advanced outside foes four to five wide coming to the quarter pole and under urging, needed more. I'MANISLANDBOY broke a half-step slowly, saved ground inside on the turn, came out a bit in the drive, was never near enough to threaten. BENLION chased from outside going four wide into the turn, was asked past the three-eighths but failed to rally. RESTORING ORDER broke outwardly, was toward the rear outside then between foes about three wide coming past the quarter pole, failed to menace. IMPERIAL STAR chased from mid-pack inside a foe but about three wide into the turn, was under urging by the three-eighths, had no response.
