GRAINGER COUNTY was prominent early, moved to the lead inside a rival about the seven-sixteenths, dueled inside that foe, kicked clear in upper stretch, held well. EXECUTIVE SEARCH settled mid-pack tracking inside, saved ground on the turn, was second best. CANYOUHEARMERUNNIN clipped heels early, saved ground inside foes off the pace, rallied foe show inside runners late. MAMBA ON THREE was urged from the start, moved to the lead and forced the early pace, relinquished the lead entering the turn but continuing to press the eventual winner from outside, weakened in the stretch. TRUEBELIEVE chased from outside, was asked for more three to four wide at the quarter pole, moved out in upper stretch, kept on late to regain a better placing. DETERMINED FURY settled outside off the pace, went three to five wide on the turn swinging out eight wide in upper stretch, ran on but needed more. NICHIREN stalked in hand off the leading pair in behind those, moved out four wide coming past the quarter pole up close and in range, faded in the stretch. TRICKY MAGICIAN was between foes off the pace on the turn, failed to rally. LYKAN was outpaced and not a factor. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER AND TRAINER OF CANYOUHEARMERUNNIN AGAINST GRAINGER COUNTY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN AND RESULTS TO STAND AS IS.
