SARATOGA EMPRESS (GB) bumped a rival lightly at the start, was bumped lightly entering the turn, settled off the pace racing mostly two to three wide, was under urging about the five-sixteenths, rallied between foes to get up late. RELOAD EH moved forward early stalking three wide into and on the first turn, advanced heading into the far turn taking the lead by the three-eighths, moved clear a sixteenth later, extended the advantage heading into upper stretch but by mid-stretch was weakening stride noticeably as rivals slowly but steadily gained, however ran on to save the place. FROGINAPOND bumped a rival early entering the first turn, saved ground on that bend about mid-division, switched out and advanced past a rival heading into the far turn, went two then three wide on that bend and asked for more by the quarter pole, was guided out a bit further at the top of the stretch then continued to drift, kept on but needed more. SUNNYVILLE was caught four wide into the first turn, settled mid-pack outside foes then between briefly up the backstretch, continued three to four deep through the far turn and put to urging on that bend, came out a bit in the lane, kept on between runners late to improve position. DANISH COOKIE was forwardly-positioned stalking about two wide, advanced to bid between foes at the five-sixteenths taking a narrow brief lead, was soon overtaken by an outside foe, switched outside that one coming into upper stretch, was still within striking distance coming to late stretch but lacked the needed late kick. ECLIPTICAL LADYBUG switched out off the inside early, had to steady on heels heading into the first turn, settled thereafter racing near the inside, fanned seven wide leaving the far turn, ran on well but was too late. BLACK GODDESS moved clear and shifted in to set the pace inside, was overtaken three furlongs out, weakened some at that juncture but fought on in the stretch inside racing up in behind the tiring leader but having to steady about seventy yards from home and was not persevered late. SIX FOR A NINE was hard to load, bumped lightly at the start, had to steady early when in tight heading to the first turn racing three wide on that bend, rated under a hold toward the back, failed to rally. SCARY BOO was bumped at the break, switched out and made a moderate early advance outside foes up the backstretch but just as quickly retreated therafter. MISTY EYED bumped a rival and tossed the head at the start and was very slow to get moving, was soon very far back, distanced, crossed the wire and walked off.
