LOIS LEN bumped with a rival at the start, soon made the lead moving through inside, set the pace shadowed by a foe, edged clear late on the turn, drew off when roused in upper- to mid-stretch, held sway. CEFALO began to advance late up the backstretch racing outside foes, went four to five wide, was no match for the winner but secured the place. EMERALD LAKE settled off the pace near but off the rail, began moving out late on the turn, was guided out six wide turning for home, ran on outside but needed more to get second. FOREST VIXEN was bumped hard between runners at the start, brought up the rear inside, moved out for room past the furlong marker, ran on mildly. MI TORMENTA stalked the leading pair in behind from off the rail, lacked the needed late kick. ALBERTA BE MINE bumped with a rival at the start, moved up a bit outside a rival into the turn, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, ran on without threatening. OLD SECRETS chased in behind, was encouraged along between runners coming to the five-sixteenths, failed to rally. ROYAL BLUSH got away well with a brief early lead, continued to press outside the eventual winner, was asked for more coming past the quarter pole and drifted out a bit turning for home, faltered and faded.
