RON'S GIZMO tracked from inside, moved off the rail on the far turn, shifted five wide in upper stretch, set down for the drive, struck the lead late and just held from a fast-closing. FROSTED OVER , who settled at the rear near the inside, crept closer on the far turn beginning to move out, angled seven wide at the top of the stretch bumping a rival in the process while seeking room, finished strongly outside but missed. PARAMOUNT PRINCE settled off the loose leader shifting in nearer the rail, began advancing willing on the far turn now off the rail, came into upper stretch four wide and took the lead, was just clear in mid-stretch, led till inside the sixteenth pole but was outkicked. MCAVOY settled outside about mid-pack three to four wide through both turns advancing with runners on the far turn while fanning six wide into upper stretch, ran on mildly outside for the minor award. TOSEN WISH (IRE) shifted in early, saved ground toward the back, rode the rail into the stretch, rallied mildly but not enough. MALIBU MAMBO settled outside a foe toward the rear, began fanning out while leaving the far turn beginning to advance, was bumped at the top of the stretch, raced nine wide after and lacked the needed late kick. TWIN CITY pursued from well back of the loose leader outside foes three to four wide, was under urging three furlongs out racing between foes, faltered in the lane. PIPER'S FACTOR sped clear and shifted in, set the pace on a large and loose lead, began shortening stride on the far turn, was overtaken in upper stretch and faded.
