HAPPY QUAD settled in midfield on the rail in the early going, advanced smartly on the rail while in hand midway on the turn, shifted out four wide straightening for home gathering speed and wore down the leader down the stretch to draw off in the last sixteenth. BENNYS JETS broke sharp having the lead at the start, was then content to sit just outside tracking the frontrunner down the backstretch, closed in smartly outside throughout the turn, seized command three wide at the top of the lane, could not find another gear in the late stages and was unable to hold off the late charge by the winner outside in deep stretch. KNOWING broke out bumping a rival on the start, lagged well behind the field down the backside, took closer order taking the short way around the bend and was full of run on the fence down the stretch to close in right at the finish line to be a distant third when crossing the wire. COME ON BIG LOU was hustled down the backside to take the lead on the rail by the half, maintained a slim advantage on the fence running around the bend, was collared outside turning for home, offered no resistance to the winner in upper stretch and weakened late being nabbed right at the wire for the show money. DROGON broke inwards bumping rival at the start, settled near the rear ahead of only the other troubled foe on the break, narrowed the margin on the leader while going two to three wide around the bend, shifted out six wide for the stretch run and finished up willingly down the lane but was outkicked late, losing the three way photo for the show award. DILWAALA settled in mid-pack on the outside of rivals in the early going, saved ground while under a ride keeping pace through the turn, shifted out in the three path at the top of the lane but wilted between foes by the furlong pole. BLACK THUNDER travelled four deep on the outside watching the lead duo along the backside, made little headway on the outside in the second flight around the turn, shifted five wide turning for home but could not offer a rally and faltered in upper stretch.
