DIVA'S GHOST veered in on the break, travelled three deep on the outside at the back group in the early going, started to reach for more ground swooping around horses commencing at the three eighths pole, gathered even more speed shifting out four wide entering the stretch and cleared past the leader at the furlong pole pulling away for the win at the wire. CASTLE HARBOUR settled four deep watching the front three in the beginning, was roused making an early move around horses at the seven sixteenths pole, took control outside at the three eighths marker, edged away up top when scrubbed for more around the bend from the pesky inside rival, shifted three wide clinging up front trying to hold off winner outside in upper stretch, had no answer by the furlong marker but still finished up well to be a clear second best in the end. HIGHLAND ROCKY was part of the mix up front between foes in the beginning, was shuffled back to be in the rear trio by the half, was on hold on the fence stuck behind weakening foes at the three furlong pole, shifted outside at the quarter pole, had clear run five wide turning for home and had a strong late charge to nail the third money right at the finish line. JO JAGR hopped on the break, recovered quickly to emerge from the group to have the lead at the five furlong pole, dug in chasing the new frontrunner through the turn, began to shorten stride on the rail in upper stretch, appeared to stay on the incorrect lead down the lane and was caught right on the last jump losing out for the show award. ASHWOOD was reined back after the start, shifted off the rail to be near the rear between rivals along the backstretch, made a brief rally three wide midway around the bend, angled out to the four path in upper stretch but was one paced to the finish line. FEELS LIKE A KYLLA was bumped outside at the break, pressed between along the backside, was asked for more to keep up but offered little response at the three furlong pole and had little to show on the fence down the stretch. J M R TURINO broke out on the break, prompted three deep on the outside in the early stages, retreated between foes in the two path in midturn, shifted three wide for the drive but had nothing left for the stretch running.
