WHISKEY N ICE was bumped at the start, moved forward under mild coaxing to take the lead after the opening furlong, set the pace from off the rail pressed by an outside foe, faced an inside challenger leaving the turn, dueled through the stretch, held that rival. MIRAMICHI broke outwardly, tracked from inside, found room to bid up the rail past the quarter pole, drew nearly even by the top of the stretch, dueled through the lane but was denied. WOZNIACKI bumped a rival at the start, stalked from between foes two to three wide on the turn, came out five deep in upper stretch, gained steadily but was not enough. CATCH THE DRIFT bumped with a rival at the start, shifted in up the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, ran on inside. TANDHONEYWITHANE lacked early speed, was under urging and advanced on the turn four wide, came out six wide in the stretch, kept on but needed more. TOTALLY IN CHARGE bumped with a rival at the start, chased three wide on the turn, went evenly. EPISODE had the brief early lead then pressed the new leader and eventual winner, floated wide leaving the turn, weakened in the stretch. TABEI broke a bit awkwardly and in a tad tight, was outpaced early, raced near but off the rail, was not a factor. MOMUNNYFOR RO dropped back to last heading to the turn, was under urging late on that bend while shifting inside a foe to cut the corner, was never near enough to threaten. SILENT SUNSHINE was reluctant to load, chased from outside four to six wide, faded.
