SERENDIPITY was quick to take the lead, set a measured pace from just off the rail, shook clear of a challenger and widened in upper stretch, had enough in reserve and held safe. TIZ HER MONEY lacked early speed, moved forward inside to regain contact with the field, swung seven wide turning for home, was gaining but too late. SOMETHINABOUTHER rated inside near mid-pack, moved out heading into the far turn, swung five wide into the stretch, was best of the rest. NO TIME was carried in a bit early and fought the rider's restraint in behind the leader into the first turn, settled down to track in behind, failed to rally. MADAME OBEY settled mid-pack two to three wide, swung six deep turning for home, kept on evenly. NATA TROUBLE stalked the eventual winner, was given encouragement past the five-sixteenths, weakened. ELLA IT IS settled toward the back off the rail and was never near enough to threaten. CRYSTALAIRE (GB) settled at the back outside three to four wide, failed to rally. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF NO TIME AGAINST SERENDIPITY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
