Footnotes
BIG BOLD AND FIRST was hustled from the outer post to get loose up top on the rail with a half mile remaining, moved well in command through the turn, was kept to the task under a vigorous ride down the stretch and just had enough left in the tank late to held narrowly at the wire for the win. BANK ON BIG WINNER was roused inside chasing the lone speed down the backstretch, whittled away at the leader around the oval, never wavered down the lane, kept on coming late and was just shy of catching the stablemate at the finish line. DEPUTY GHOST tracked the lead pair while nestled on the rail down the back straight, rallied on the fence smartly at the quarter pole taking closer order and ran on willingly inside through the stretch to be a clear but non-threatening third in the end. TIME ZAPPER was away slowly on the start, stalked ahead of one runner down the backstretch, co-trailed inside around the bend, shifted just off the fence at the top of the lane and finished up with intent to be a fringe player when crossing the wire. MAKING HIS MARK was checked soon after the start in tight between runners around the nine sixteenths pole, stalked near the rear at the half, made a brief run three wide outside foes in midturn but could only finish up one paced in mid-stretch. HOT POTATO broke with the field but slow getting into full stride trailing down the backside, made little impression outside rivals on the turn, angled to the four path turning for home, shifted to the rail with a furlong to go and could only pick a straggler in the late running. STORM ROYALE broke sharp to have the lead on the break, angled inwards to track the lead two just off the fence midway down the backside, could not quicken with others making a run at the quarter pole and stopped in the three path by the furlong pole. STEWARDS GENERAL INQUIRY REGARDING THE START RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
