Footnotes
HOODLESS broke in at the start, was content to let the loose leader go on with it spreading out the field along the backside, patiently began to edge up reeling in the leader at the five sixteenths pole, drove past taking the lead in the four path at the eighth pole and was kept to the task late to safely hold for the win when crossing the finish line. GENIUS OF LOVE broke a step slow to begin, was isolated watching the top two runners with the field spread out at the half, rallied smartly on the rail at the quarter pole gaining position in upper stretch, could not match strides with the winner late but did run on well enough to secure the place share inside rivals in deep stretch. STERLING HEIGHTS settled in the middle of the pack on the outside, continued in midfield well behind the pacesetter with three furlongs still left to run, closed the gap in the three path at the top of the lane, switched back to the incorrect lead stalling while in the hunt at the three sixteenths marker, still kept on trying to the end and picked up the weary early frontrunner late to capture the show money in the end. HALEY'S HONOR was away alertly loose on the lead along the backstretch, opened up on the field into the turn setting a quick tempo around the bend, had a diminishing advantage with five sixteenths from home, offered no answer when the winner drove past outside at the furlong pole and yielded late to settle for a minor share at the wire. SARAH'S DANCER was off slow to trail on the break, passed a rival outside midway down the backside, shifted out trying to make a run five wide straightening out for home but failed to fire in the late stretch running. ENCHANTED FOREST bobbled on the break to trail the field outside by the five eighths pole, narrowed the margin on the leader who was starting to get weary at the quarter pole, was pushed out widest in the six path turning for home and lacked a rally down the lane.
