PEJA DU moved clear and shifted in, dictated pace on or just off the rail slowing things down a bit midway up the backstretch, kicked clear when roused turning into upper stretch, held sway. LOBBY BAR was bumped into a rival at the start, reserved at the rear racing off the rail, was kept wide up the backstretch, began to advance foes on the far turn five to six deep coming into upper stretch six to seven wide, finished well to gain the place while no threat to the winner. THIS DUDE A BREEZE stalked from outside three to four wide, was within range coming to the top of the stretch, could make no headway on the winner and lost place late. ELUSIVE KNIGHT was bumped at the start, settled toward the back near but off the inside, saved some ground through both turns, came out in mid-stretch and ran on gaining some. SWAN LAKE settled toward the back, was mostly three to four wide, ran on mildly. CAUSIN' MAYHEM broke out a bit, switched out and took closer order between foes coming up the backstretch, chased and was under urging past the three-eighths, came into upper stretch three wide, dropped back and faded. HOLIDAY WITH AMY was mid-pack near the inside, raced off the fence between foes on the far turn, came out six wide in the stretch, failed to rally. DISSECTOLOGIST was forwardly-positioned inside tracking just off the leader, dropped back about three furlongs out, failed to rally. GOOD SIN pursued from mid-pack about three wide at times inside a foe and others from between runners, came out five to six wide turning for home, was never a threat. HEAT MERCHANT bumped a rival at the start, was outside foes off the pace early racing four wide, floated out a bit turning for home and faded.
