Footnotes
A LITTLE FRISKY was content to hound the pace outside down the back straight, moved in when forced to go with an outside rivals prompting three wide at the three eighths pole, vied between foes around the bend, poked her head in front with determined challengers on either side through the stretch and found just a bit more to edge away for the win nearing the wire. PROMISING settled three deep in the middle of the pack in the early going, closed in at the half, bid three wide midway on the turn, was in the thick of things outside, four wide at the top of the lane, dueled to the wire outside but just weakened slightly in the shadow of the wire to settle for the runners up share instead at the finish line. TANDHONEYWITHANE was away alertly taking the lead down the backstretch, was headed outside by a couple rivals at the three furlong marker, battled back throughout the turn holding her own, continued to dig in inside the other two leading rivals down the lane until the furlong pole, gave way to the top pair late but easily held for a clear third at the finish line. MIDSUMMER MO was unhurried to co-trail on the inside with a half mile remaining, took the short way around the bend closing the gap on the fence in midturn, offered a mild run inside horses in mid-stretch and got up to be a fringe player at the wire. LAMORNA had rail position in mid-division down the backstretch, was nudged on to go after the engaged threesome at the five sixteenths pole but was making little headway on the leaders, shifted out three wide turning for home, could not get near the top three rivals in the drive and just missed holding for the minor prize when fading nearing the finish line. YOU BE THE JUDGE broke in the air to be in last leaving the chute, co-trailed on the outside at the half, made a brief rally at the three eighths pole outside of runners through the turn, swung out widest in the five path unable to continue the run and flattened out by the furlong pole. THREAD travelled in midfield between rivals along the back straight, was roused at the five sixteenths pole but was going the wrong way through the turn and had little to offer in the three path in the stretch running. STWEARDS INQUIRY REGARDING #6 YOU BE THE JUDGE LEAVING THE GATE WAS DEEMED TO HAVE RECIEVED A FAIR START
