Footnotes
AWESOME CONNECTION forced the pace from outside, moved clear past the four- and one-half, dictated terms from off the rail, was challenged in upper- to mid-stretch, dug in gamely and just got the nod. DYNA stalked from just off the leading pair outside, began to advance late on the turn shifting out, came into upper stretch five wide and in contention, was lightly bumped repeatedly by an inside rival while commencing a bid, was even with the leader through late stretch but just lost the nod. THUNDERMAKER was prominent inside in the early going, ceded the lead and switched out coming to the half stalking now outside three wide, moved closer to make a mild bid between foes four wide in upper stretch, bumped the outer foe lightly but repeatedly in the lane, was outfinished. WILL WIN settled off the pace, was at the back two to three wide on the turn, came out in the stretch seeking room, was ultimately seven wide, ran on but needed more. COURT settled inside toward the back, advanced while moving out late on the turn, floated six to seven wide turning into upper stretch, appeared to be getting in and lugged in repeatedly, straightened out and moved out and ran on evenly. FOUND MONEY appeared a bit washy and hard to load, tracked from inside in behind the leaders, cut the corner into upper stretch saving ground and within range but failed to rally. GONE WITH DUWYN settled outside toward the rear, entered the turn three abreast, was carried out eight wide leaving that bend by a rival, failed to rally. DEPUTY CURLIN wheeled at the start losing the rider, was soon caught and walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
