Footnotes
SUMMER COMMANDER had a nice trip watching the contesting duo along the backside, was poised waiting to move on the fence around the bend, shifted out at the quarter pole, loomed boldly three wide in upper stretch, took control from a stubborn leader with a sixteenth to run and edged away at the wire for the win. SHADOW REALM settled in midfield on the outside in the early going, began to pick up the bit at the five sixteenths pole just outside the eventual winner in midturn, was pushed out five wide driving to the wire and kept on coming through the lane, could not get to the winner late but did surge at the wire to best the rest for the runners up share. FIFTY B M G broke sharp taking command right after the start, continued moving well up top while pressed outside along the backstretch, rolled along up top through the turn disposing of the chasing early speed rival by the quarter pole, braced for the new challenger outside at the top of the stretch, was headed outside by the winner at the furlong marker, fought on strongly but gave way at the seventy yard marker and was just caught at the finish line surrendering the place share at the wire. YACHT BOY stalked close to the rear while going three deep down the back straight, tried to circle around horses three wide commencing a run at the three eighths pole, swung out widest in the seven path and finished up willingly outside runners to be a fringe player in the end. NEXT PITCH travelled between foes near the rear in the early stages, started to get into gear reaching for more ground midway on the bend, angled out six wide turning for home and finished with interest having rivals on either side just missing the nod at the finish line for a minor role. WICO (IRE) travelled on the rail in mid-division in the early going, was roused for more just off the fence with five sixteenths from home keeping pace with rivals, had a chance in the two path for a piece of the prize in upper stretch but stalled inside foes with a sixteenth remaining. COOLER MAN was unhurried trailing the field down the backside, lagged well behind making no progress through the turn, shifted to the three path for the stretch run and could only manage to pass a weary straggler on the outside at the sixteenth pole. RELOAD'S REBEL shadowed the frontrunner along the backside, continued to hound the leader outside through the turn, was engulfed by rivals on both sides who were making a rally at the quarter pole and folded three wide by mid-stretch.
