ANITA MARGARITA was quick to take the early lead then taken back and put to rating tactics tracking in behind the leader near but off the fence, was encouraged by upper stretch, came out a bit in mid-stretch and surged past late under steady handling. ZIPFIRE zipped to the lead outside the five-eighths and moved clear, dictated terms from off the rail, was still clear past the furlong marker but proved no match for the winner. BRIGHT SUNSHINE got away alertly but was soon overtaken for the lead, tracked from inside, lost some ground about the nine-sixteenths as a rival in front dropped back, saved ground on the turn, came out late and was best of the rest. PEGGY chased from between foes, was mostly three to four wide on the turn and niggled along late on that bend, kept on in the stretch but needed more. SILENT PATSY chased from outside on the turn four to five wide, kept on evenly in the lane. THATSITTHATSALL broke a step slowly and lacked early speed, came out in the stretch and passed tired rivals. SHAMELESS AFFAIR chased from off the pace outside five wide into the turn, dropped back past the half and shifted in a bit still off but nearer to the rail, failed to rally. HYPER ANGEL was held up behind runners two to three wide into the turn, shifted out leaving that bend and again past the quarter pole bumping a rival in the process, failed to menace. BONITA MUNDO was off the rail and off the pace, shifted seven wide turning for home, was bumped in upper stretch and was never near enough to threaten.
