HEY CUE broke sharp having the lead inside in the beginning, was reined back letting the pacesetter go while shifting outside into the backstretch, began to move in at the three eighths pole, glided right past the leader seizing total control at the quarter pole and coasted home for the win uncontested through the lane. MANNIX (IRE) was allowed to settle outside of horses in midfield down the backside, inched up on the outside of a rival in the second flight around the bend, swung out widest in the five path posing a threat briefly in upper stretch, chased the winner in vain by the furlong marker and bested the rest late winning the battle for the runners up position in the final seventy yads. WILBERFORCE was under a good hold watching the lead pair down the back straight, edged up just off the fence trying to get to the lead duo at the quarter pole, shifted out three wide in the hunt turning for home, was no match for the winner by the furlong pole, dueled inside for the secondary share in deep stretch but was denied in the final seventy yards. WINSTON BLUE clipped the inside rivals heels stumbling on the start to co-trail inside another down the backside, closed the gap at the half while on the rail, made little progression when roused on the turn, shifted out to the two path and finished up mildly between horses to settle on the fringes in the end. KID FORESTER was bumped on the inside from the troubled starter on the break to co-trail outside of that one down the backstretch, could see the field at the half, offered a mild rally when asked right-handed picking up the bit at the quarter pole, angled out to the four path at the top of the lane but could not get involved in the stretch running. CLASSIC DANCER broke outwards on the start, dictated terms on the fence along the backside, continued up front but by a diminishing margin halfway around the bend, surrendered the lead on the fence offering no resistance at the quarter pole and folded inside rival by the furlong marker.
