SNOOKERED had the rail position watching the lead three contest the pace on the first turn, moved up travelling smartly in hand at the half mile marker through the backstretch, shifted out at the five sixteenths pole continuing the rally coming after the frontrunner, pounced outside with a quarter mile to run, never switched leads down the lane but still determinedly fought on to edge away for the win in the last seventy yards. WAR IN CHARGE had a slim lead on the rail into the first bend, continued up top quickening the tempo slightly along the backstretch, opened up to increase the advantage at the three furlong pole, had company outside with a quarter mile from home, dug in stubbornly inside fighting down the lane but faded a touch to the winner in deep stretch to settle for the runners up share at the finish line. DRUM ROLL PLEASE travelled three wide in the mix up top going into the initial bend, took closer order to hound the pacesetter down the back straight, came under a ride but could not keep up to the lead pair midway on the final turn and moved out to the three path for clear run in the stretch but was one paced to settle for a clear but distant third at the finish line. COLONEL MUSTARD was unhurried trailing in the early stages, started to pick up runners outside leaving the three eighths pole, shifted out four wide turning for home and finished up mildly with the field strung out to settle on the fringes in the end. CAN'T JUMP pressed the issue with rivals on both sides into the first bend, tracked on the fence watching the lead duo down the back straight, was scrubbed on saving ground while just keeping pace through the running on the far turn and weakened in the two path in the final sixteenth. CABERNAYDO travelled on the outside in the second flight in the first of two turns, was nudged for more trying to go with the eventual winner at the half mile marker down the backside, backed away at the three-furlong pole having little left and galloped down the lane across the finish line.
