GATHER was allowed to settle at the back outside runners, travelled three wide outside another seeing the field on the turn comfortably keeping pace with rivals, shifted out widest in the five path having a clear lane for the drive to the wire, was gaining steadily down the stretch, moved in by the eighth pole dueling for the front and drew off with authority in the last sixteenth for the stretch running score. PRINCESSONAMISSION settled between horses watching the pacesetter down the backstretch, edged up closing the gap on the leader outside through the bend, shifted out three wide in the thick of things having rivals on both sides in upper stretch, battled up top with a furlong to go but was outkicked by the winner in the late stages settling for the runner up finish in the end. DANCETOTHERHYTHM pressed the issue inside after the break, dropped back to sit in mid-division on the fence around the bend, took closer order on the rail just behind the frontrunner to be in the conversation turning for home, shifted out off the tiring early leader three wide with a furlong from home and finished up willingly to capture the show money in deep stretch. PRETTY GOOD JOKE hopped then bobbled on the break, quickly recovered to have a clear lead outside by the five eighths pole, tugged the rider along unopposed through the turn, moved well up front just off the fence turning for home, had company bearing down outside nearing the furlong pole, could not find more late and faded inside horses in the last sixteenth of a mile to settle on the fringes. NOW IS A BREEZE stalked close to the back of the pack in the early going, co-trailed inside with the eventual winner making little headway around the bend, shifted out to the two path for the stretch run but failed to fire through the lane. COMPLEX SECRET tracked the pacesetter three deep on the outside down the back straight, travelled three wide still taking the overland route on the turn but was moving in closer by the three eighths pole, shifted out four wide between rivals in the mix at the top of the lane but had little left by mid-stretch.
