HOSHIANA (FR) settled into stride last but one, saved ground on the turn riding the rail into upper stretch and was put to urging at the quarter pole, came out six wide in mid-stretch, surged past late. SHOTGUN WEDDING tracked from inside not too far in behind the leaders, shifted five to six wide turning into upper stretch, struck the lead about the three-sixteenths, moved clear by mid-stretch, was outfinished but second best. YOU BE THE JUDGE settled off the pace, fanned seven wide into upper stretch starting to advance, kept on evenly while widest to capture show honors but was no match for the top pair. DARE TO BREEZE was forced outside foes three to four wide on the turn mid-pack, was within range of the leaders in upper stretch but failed to rally. SMUDGE broke outwardly, settled at the rear, could see them all coming into upper stretch five to seven wide, passed some tired rivals. BARBARA JOAN was prominent inside early, wrangled back off the pace after pressing briefly, tracked in behind, came out a bit coming into upper stretch seeking room, found none in upper stretch, moved back in brushing a rival lightly past the furlong marker, ran on evenly inside late. BRITTANY'S WAY broke outwardly, steadily advanced outside into and on the turn, bid at the five-sixteenths taking a narrow lead, faltered and faded. RUTHLESS ACTION raced up close two to three wide and between foes in the second flight entering the turn, came up empty in the lane. SCARY SPEEDY got away well, set the early pace from off the rail, was overtaken late on the turn, weakened in the stretch drifting inward a bit, was brushed and steadied past the furlong marker and faded thereafter.
