Footnotes
CITORI shook loose from the early speed foe to have uncontested lead by the half, rolled along still unchallenged throughout the turn, built up a commanding lead at the top of the stretch, began to get weary drifting out in the last sixteenth of a mile but had enough of an advantage to hold safe front the frontrunning score at the wire. WILDFIRE had the rail while keeping a close eye of the lead two rivals down the back straight, tried to commence a rally on the fence but lost the seam going into the turn, had to be checked inside nearing the three furlong pole losing momentum, shifted outside making another run at the quarter pole three wide and finished up smartly down the lane closing the gap but could not get to the winner in the late running. WHERE'S SAMNBAILEY settled in the middle of the pack on the outside in the early stages, had little movement around the bend, shifted out three wide battling for a small share of the prize and finished with better energy than most to get up late to capture the third place share. LOVE YOU LIPPY dueled inside in the beginning, was relegating to a tracking spot unable to quicken with the pacesetter at the half, chased the leader through the turn making little headway, never switched leads on the rail weakened at the furlong marker and was nabbed for third money just coming up to the finish line. LA BELVA had a stalking position only ahead of the poor start in the early going, made no movement on the rail in the running around the bend, made a brief run on the fence in mid-stretch dueling for a minor share but faded inside foes in the last seventy yards. HOLYMOLYMEOHMY had a sluggish start to trail the field along the backside, made little impact running just off the fence through the turn and could not factor showing little while in the three path down the stretch.
