THAT GIRL ARTEMUS was caught outside foes three wide into the first turn, was coaxed forward from the six- and one-half shifting in a bit advancing past inside rivals, took closer order into the far turn advancing inside, shifted out near the quarter pole swinging five wide into upper stretch taking a narrow lead, drifted in through the stretch, dueled with the inside foe and held that one under steady handling. STREGA moved clear and shifted in, set the pace just off the inside, drifted out while leaving the far turn and was challenged by an outside rival, got headed at the top of the stretch, dug in to fight back but was denied. GREY PRINCESS settled between foes at the rear into the first turn, altered outside a rival at the six- and one-half, shifted in entering the far turn and was encouraged along outside the three-eighths, saved ground on that bend, failed to rally and went evenly. HAY HAY PAULA broke a step slowly, settled at the rear inside, steadied nearing the three-quarter, swung five wide into upper stretch, was never a threat. OUR FLAG FLYING chased from off the inside mostly in the three to four path, faded. SHARP FLAME refused to start, walked off. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START AS WELL AS AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF GREY PRINCESS AGAINST THAT GIRL ARTEMUS AND AND OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF HAY HAY PAUL AGAINST BOTH GREY PRINCESS AND THAT GIRL ARTEMUS, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
