MISTY EYED settled in the third flight four deep outside foes leaving the chute, improved smartly while under a snug hold outside down the back straight, kept a close eye of the frontrunner throughout the turn, posed the main threat four wide in upper stretch and steadily kept on gaining on the leader to get up for the win in the final few strides. EM CHAMAS quickly opened up for the front after the break, set the pace moving comfortably on the fence along the backstretch, continued up top while hounded outside around the bend, shifted just outside in the two path holding onto the lead turning for home, continued to find more clinging up front with a furlong to go but could not fend off the persistent winner in the shadow of the wire. MOMANDA was in the second flight inside watching the contesting duo at the half, moved well in hand waiting inside on the rail for the cue to go around the turn, shifted out three wide between rivals battling up front in mid-stretch but needed more to threaten the top pair in deep stretch still easily finishing up for the show money in the end. AUSSIE HYPER stalked five deep outside horses close to the back of the pack in the early going, made little impression going three wide outside foes in midfield when ridden for more on the bend, shifted out five wide with clear run straightening out for home and had a good late charge in the final furlong to get up for a minor role in the end outside runners. BLAZE OF MISCHIEF was away alertly on the break, settled into the third tier between foes entering the backstretch, was shuffled back positions at the half, made little impact around the turn while on the fence, shifted out three wide mounting a rally in upper stretch, darted back to the inside at the furlong pole and finished with intent on the rail in deep stretch. JUST LIKE THAT broke out on the start, chased the leader down the backside, was reined in to track the lead duo outside another around the turn, was scrubbed on trying to keep up to the front three at the quarter pole and flattened out in the final seventy yards when dueling for a minor share. THIS IS GLORIA had a stalking role ahead of only a troubled starter along the back straight, made an early move circling three wide around horses at the three eighths pole to be in with a chance for a share in the five path at the top of the lane, could not sustain the rally and stalled by the furlong marker. ONE MORE DOLL had the fence near the rear in the early going, improved slightly to mid-pack inside rivals at the half, saved the ground holding position around the bend and failed to fire on the rail in the final eighth of a mile. BRAZILIAN LEGACY was in mid-division in the two path between foes to begin, dropped back when in tight at the half mile marker, could see the field just off the fence at the three eighths pole and offered a mild run going three wide passing a couple of rivals at the quarter pole. BLACKMARSH travelled in the middle of the pack in the three path between foes along the backside, was shuffled back at the half mile marker, made little impact between rivals through the turn and had little to offer four wide down the lane. ECLIPTICAL LADYBUG was forced out being in tight to trail the field leaving the chute, passed a rival inside at the seven sixteenths pole, saved ground making little impression through the turn and had no finish to give inside horses in the stretch run. WEAPONS MASTER hopped then broke out on the start, recouped to sit in the four path between foes into the backstretch, improved position at the half outside runners, was hard ridden midway around the turn but was being passed on either side, angled out four wide for the drive to the turn but came up empty in mid-stretch.
