TIMEFRAME was forwardly-positioned just off the leaders settling inside tracking in behind, saved ground on the turn, was under urging in the stretch, tipped out near the sixteenth pole for room but was promptly guided back nearer the rail as the leader drifted a bit, bid up the rail, edged past late. COURT veered in at the break bothering several rivals, was coaxed to the lead after the opening sixteenth moving through between runners, set the tempo shadowed by an outside rival, was asked near the three-sixteenths having just moved clear, drifted in and out a bit in mid- to late-stretch under steady handling, led late but was outfinished. THUNDERMAKER got away well but ceded the lead taken back under a tight hold to stalk from outside, was a bit keen up the backstretch, raced mostly three to four wide just off the flank of the leader, was asked for run at the five-sixteenths and under an all out drive past the quarter pole, could not gain on the leader and just got the nod for show. BLIND RIVER was forced into a rival and bothered at the start, made a steady advance past the half coming up to the leaders four wide nearing the five-sixteenths, was within range turning for home, kicked on evenly, missed show honors battling outside a rival for that spot. BUIUM was bumped and bothered badly at the start forced to check from between runners, settled well back at the tail-end, saw them all coming to the top of the stretch four wide, was guided out further racing six to eight wide the remainder of the stretch, finished strongest of all but was too little too late. LENNOX THE GREY was bumped into a rival and steadied slightly at the start, settled racing last but one into the turn, swung five wide into upper stretch, finished up with mild late interest. FIRE AND WINE chased from inside, steadily retreated into and on the turn, ran on evenly in the lane. IDEOLOGIST broke out a little bit exchanging contact and was steadied slightly at the start, advanced some from the half reaching mid-division chasing in behind the leaders off the inside, dropped back and faded in the lane. FOLLOWING THE RACE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF BUIUM AGAINST BOTH BLIND RIVER AND COURT, AND AN OBJECTION BY THE TRAINER OF BUIUM AGAINST COURT. UPON REVIEW, COURT WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM SECOND AND PLACED SIXTH BEHIND LENNOX THE GREY FOR CAUSING A CHAIN REACTION AT THE START RESULTING IN INTERFERENCE TO THAT ONE AS WELL AS OTHER RIVALS.
