TUTTI CONTENTI was part of the lead foursome while going four deep in the mix up front in the beginning, dropped back at the half, started to make a rally swooping around horses four wide midway on the bend, shifted out seven wide carrying the momentum off the turn, drifted inwards seizing control in the three path leaving the furlong marker and held safe while keeping to the task at the wire. TAKE CHARGE SOUSI co-trailed three deep down the back straight, started to make a run three wide having horses on each side at the five sixteenths marker, bullied his way through making a seam five wide at the top of the lane, was no match for the winner in deep stretch but did get up in the shadow of the wire for second money outside. AWESOME RAINBOW had a good trip alone watching the lead duo down the backside, picked up the bit when called upon at the quarter pole, shifted out posing a threat two wide in upper stretch, drifted in at the sixteenth pole and just lost out on the duel for the runners up share inside another at the finish line. WAR OF DESTINY dictated terms up front along the backside, cleared off being loose on the lead at the three furlong pole, was clinging onto the top spot on the fence with a furlong left to run, could not keep going when swallowed up by rivals on the rail having to be checked at the sixteenth pole but did dig in late to hold for a minor role in the end. LONNY'S GAMBLE co-trailed on the inside with two other rivals in the early stages, was scrubbed on keeping pace travelling in the middle of the group with five sixteenths remaining, tried to find a seam four wide at the head of the lane, shifted to the two path having a furlong left to go but failed to fire in deep stretch. WESTMINSTER prompted the issue on the outside early on, could not keep up to the leader three eighths from the wire, still had a chance for a small piece of the prize in the four path turning for home but could not find more late and faded in the final furlong. SPRUNG LOOSE was situated in mid-pack between challengers down the backside, came under a ride trying to keep pace with others midturn, swung out widest in the eight-path straightening out for home but could not get involved in the late stages. HUMAN DESIRE had the rail position in the middle of the pack, dropped back positions three furlongs out, moved up again on the fence with a quarter mile from home, had a chance for a small share on the rail at the furlong marker but lacked a finishing kick in the last eighth of a mile. RIDE FOR THE PURSE co-trailed between horses down the backstretch, could see the field having three furlongs still to run and could not factor in the three path in the stretch running. DADDY HAS DIAMONDS settled between runners in midfield, offered a mild run three wide at the three eighths pole, was jostled between rivals six wide at the top of the stretch and emptied out by the furlong marker.
