WENTRU was quick to lead, moved clear up the backstretch setting the tempo, faced a challenge on the far turn, was asked for more in upper stretch and responded to kick clear again, held sway, appeared to take a bad step after the rest and was transported off the track via equine ambulance. EMBRACE MY UNCLE settled near mid-pack racing mostly two to three wide, came out at the top of the stretch, was second best. SWAN LAKE stalked from outside off the leader, moved closer to just off that rivals flank coming past the three-eighths, was asked by the quarter pole, lacked the needed late kick. THIS DUDE A BREEZE was well-placed stalking in behind near the inside, was within range coming into upper stretch but went evenly and made no bid. SUNRISE DRIVE broke just a step slowly, saved ground the first turn, switched out off the inside early up the backstretch, was ridden along before the far turn, continued from just off the rail, was one-paced. MILITARY FORCE settled outside a foe off the pace, shifted nearer the rail up the backstretch, saved some ground on the far turn before swinging out eight to nine wide coming into upper stretch, was never near enough to threaten. NONNO'S LITTLE BOY settled outside at the rear three to four wide, advanced late up the backstretch outside foes, was asked for more three furlongs from home, could not sustain the effort. LOBBY BAR settled at the raer inside a rival off the fence in teh two to three path, was patient at the back then advance mildly midway on the far turn moving out from three to five wide on that bend, came into upper stretch six deep and flattened out. IF YOU INSIST broke in the air, moved forward between foes to gain position stalking the leader from outside, chased into the far turn and was asked to keep up three furlongs out but came up empty.
