SHERIF ALI settled on the rail close to the back of the pack in the beginning, co-trailed on the fence along the backside, mounted a rally moving outside following a rival that was circling the field around the final bend, angled out five wide full of run turning for home, powered past taking command leaving the eighth pole outside rivals and drew off convincingly at the wire for the win. SWAN LAKE had a good trip on the outside keeping tabs on the contesting front duo for the first half of this route race, rallied smartly when urged three wide on the last turn to bid for the lead at the quarter pole between foes, had his head in front momentarily two wide with a furlong still to run but could not fend off the winners late charge outside in deep stretch. C C'S KINGDOM was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field into the first of two turns, co-trailed outside three deep along the backside, made a bid swooping move four wide around runners on the far turn to be in the hunt at the top of the lane, could not sustain the rally and stalked at the eighth pole to settle for the show money at the finish line. BLAZING BO had an inside tracking position early on, could not quicken with others outside making a run at the five sixteenths marker, kept grinding away in three path down the lane and got up at the wire winning the duel for the minors. MEDIA SENSATION had the fence settling in the middle of the pack, made no movement along the backside inside horses, dropped back to last taking the short way around the final bend, swung out widest in the six path for the drive and just missed fighting for a minor share outside with the rider standing up just before the wire in a tight finish . ASK IN MY NAME had the outer position in midfield, made little progression still on the outside of another along the backside, picked up the bit between foes in the three path moving with an outside rival at the five sixteenths pole to be in the mix three wide at the top of the lane, could not continue on late and faded in deep stretch inside runners being caught at the wire for a small share of the prize. THIS DUDE A BREEZE pressed the issue outside in the first turn, continued to force the pace down the back straight, edged away for clear lead from the other speed foe midway on the final bend, was collared outside having the fence straightening out for the drive, had nothing left for the stretch run and folded inside runners by the furlong marker. SOULMATE had a narrow advantage on the fence inside another in the early stages, gave way up top on the rail with five sixteenths still to run, backed away inside rivals through the far turn, emptied out by upper stretch and cantered home.
