NORTH WARDEN broke inwardly bumping a rival, was coaxed to the lead shifting in and moved clear, set the early pace with a large margin, was pressured midway up the backstretch, retook a clear advantage heading into the far turn, was mildly challenged by an outside rival leaving that bend, maintained a clear advantage while coming out, held sway. CAN'T JUMP was lightly bumped at the start, stalked from outside three to four wide, was urged while moving closer just off the flank of the winner past the quarter pole, chased that one home in vain but was second best. SPARKLET was bumped into a rival at the start, settled near the rear tucking in near but just off the rail, saved some ground, came out seven wide for the drive, finished strongly and was gaining but too late. GENDRAGON bumped a rival at the start, was forwardly-placed stalking three wide, was urged in range past the quarter pole, came out a bit turning for home, failed to rally. MODDASSAH stalked in behind early then moved up a bit keenly early up the backstretch to briefly press the eventual winner two wide, weakened in the stretch. ANSELMO was lightly bumped at the start, urged but devoid of speed, trailed up the backstretch, was forced outside foes on the far turn fanning seven deep into upper stretch, improved position. PET SOUNDS was bumped into a rival at the start, raced in tight quarters between foes into the first turn, continued off the leaders three to four deep on the far turn, failed to menace. JAY BIRD exchanged a hard bump entering the first turn, raced between foes two wide off the pace, was never near enough to threaten. DARE TO BE KING was outside foes four wide early, asked to keep up three furlongs out but had no response. SUGAR IT'S ELI exchanged a hard bump heading into the first turn along the inside, saved ground to no avail.
