MOBULA was forwardly-placed tracking inside, was encouraged while tipping out past the five-sixteenths, came into upper stretch five wide making a bid, drifted in once in the lead in mid-stretch moving clear, came back out in late stretch and held. KATHERINE'S CUB was bumped at the start, settled off the pace, raced near but off the fence on the turn advancing on the leaders, was in a bit tight near mid-stretch and altered out past the furlong marker, closed the gap but needed more. TUNED OUT chased from outside, fanned six wide, kept on late. LET'S GO SOUPER took the lead straight off, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, weakened late. LEMON SWEETS broke a step slowly, unhurriedly brought up the rear near the inside, came out a bit in the stretch, ran on. EARENDEL bumped a rival at the start, pressed two to three wide, was ridden to keep up by the five-sixteenths, faded. R CANADIAN APPLE was outside dropping back to the rear and was never near enough to threaten. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF KATHERINE'S CUB AGAINST MOBULA ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN MID-STRETCH NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
