GOOD KING SAM settled on the outside of rivals keeping a close eye on the pace setter, came under a ride edging up between foes to the frontrunner at the quarter pole, was in the hunt three wide having horses on both sides straightening out for home and determinedly wore down the leader in the final seventy yards for the gutsy win. ISAAC LEO had the lead on the fence along the backside, continued to dictate the pace around the turn, was on top marginally inside foes in upper stretch, switched leads at the furlong marker finding another gear but could not fend off the winner outside in deep stretch. COUNTRYBOYSURVIVE travelled three deep watching the front twosome down the back straight, dropped back slightly at the half, began to lengthen stride three wide midturn to be in the hunt in the four path outside rivals at the top of the lane but could only inch up on the winner in the late stages just coming up short for the runners up share at the finish line. CONACHER improved on the rail down the backstretch to sit behind the frontrunner at the half, saved ground on the turn but could not keep up to the lead trio by the quarter pole, hugged the rail turning for home and stayed on well enough to be a fringe player in the end. AMERICAN DECISION was unhurried sharing the back spot on the outside through the backstretch, made little impact running inside horses around the bend and showed some late interest passing a few runners inside through the stretch drive. PRIME PLUS ONE broke out on the start, had an inside stalking position down the backside, could not make any gain around the bend, angled out three wide for the stretch run and finished up one paced down the lane. GLOBETROTTING was all alone in midfield down the back straight, kept pace with others while going three wide on the oval, moved out to the four path turning for home but lacked a rally in the stretch running. ETHNIC SOUL had a outside stalking trip down the backstretch, was roused three wide outside foes midturn but offering little response, swung out widest in the five path at the top of the lane but could not get involved in the drive to the finish line. BLONDINA'S BOY was brushed on the inside then jostled between foes on the start to co-trail on the outside, came under a ride at the quarter pole showing little through the turn and could not make a presence four wide in upper stretch.
